South Park Season 28 Halloween Special: Satan & Trump Destroy White House

A special Halloween episode is planned for the 28th season of South Park. This announcement follows the unexpectedly short 27th season, which only had five episodes. The 28th season began on October 15th, and new episodes of both seasons have been released every other Wednesday, continuing the show’s tradition of commenting on and poking fun at current events.

The latest episode of South Park‘s 28th season will premiere on Friday, October 31st at 10pm Eastern and Pacific time on Comedy Central – a change from its usual Wednesday release. A promotional image shows Satan and Donald Trump wearing hard hats and overseeing construction work at the White House, hinting that they’re joining forces to tear it down. You can see the announcement below.

The latest episode of South Park will address the recent uproar over the reported plan to tear down the White House’s East Wing to make way for a new ballroom. Given that the demolition just happened and is still being widely discussed, this shows the show continuing its tradition of quickly responding to current events.

Because South Park is known for its extreme and exaggerated humor, Trump and Satan’s schemes will likely be much bigger than just renovating the White House – they might even try to destroy it completely. With the story taking place at the White House, it’s also probable that we’ll see characters like JD Vance or Kristi Noem, or other members of Trump’s team, appear in the episode.

As a long-time South Park fan, I was really excited for their latest Halloween special, and it definitely fits right in with their history of spooky episodes. It reminded me a lot of the Season 10 episode, “Hell on Earth 2006,” which also centered around Satan – but this time he was throwing a huge Halloween party here on Earth. That episode was hilarious, and pretty dark too, because it basically made fun of shows like My Super Sweet 16, and even included some truly unsettling appearances by serial killers like Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, and John Wayne Gacy as characters. It was classic South Park – shocking, funny, and totally over the top.

This new season continues the storyline from last season of South Park, centering on the relationship between Trump and Satan. The show hasn’t toned down this theme, even after the controversial scene in the season 27 premiere where Trump and Satan were shown in bed together.

As a longtime viewer, I’m letting South Park fans know to brace themselves for a bit of a wait. With new episodes dropping every two weeks, and the Halloween special landing on October 31st, don’t expect the next installment of season 28 until mid-November. And honestly? Knowing how quickly South Park jumps on current events, whatever they’re tackling in that episode might not even have happened yet! That’s just how on-the-ball these guys are.
