With 2025 coming to a close, there’s still a chance to accomplish one final, significant goal for the year.
I’m absolutely thrilled to share some incredible news! The fight between Sung Jinwoo and the Ant King from Solo Leveling Season 2 – Arise from the Shadow just became the most-watched anime fight of 2025 on Crunchyroll’s YouTube channel! As of December 27th, 2025, that epic battle has already racked up over 30 million views after just nine months – it’s seriously amazing to see how much everyone is loving it!
Solo Leveling’s Epic Season 2 Battle Becomes Crunchyroll’s Most-Viewed Anime Fight of 2025
The fight between Sung Jinwoo and the Ant King quickly became an intense and spectacular battle, reminiscent of the over-the-top action seen in Dragon Ball Z.
Interestingly, despite being relatively new, Solo Leveling actually surpassed even the most popular anime series globally, with numerous reports claiming its Season 2 episodes, including the final one, were highly anticipated and viewed.
Okay, so the Season 2 battle in Solo Leveling is absolutely insane and the numbers are huge, but surprisingly, it’s not the most-watched anime battle ever on Crunchyroll’s YouTube! That title actually goes to Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. Can you believe it? That one moment has racked up over 73 million views – and it’s been online for seven years! It’s still the king!
There’s positive news for Solo Leveling: it’s already gained almost as many views as Boruto in under a year, suggesting it could eventually surpass the older video, which has been out for nearly a decade. However, January 2026 is shaping up to be a very competitive month for anime releases, with popular series like Jujutsu Kaisen also scheduled to debut.
The next season of a popular anime like Jujutsu Kaisen could easily become even more popular than the second season of Solo Leveling, particularly because its upcoming story is designed around intense, action-packed fights.
I’m so excited that Solo Leveling is definitely coming back for more! We’re all eagerly awaiting an official announcement for Season 3, but in the meantime, there’s still plenty of Solo Leveling to enjoy! They just released a new video game, which is awesome, and it’s even coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S sometime in 2026 – I’ve already marked my calendar!
You can now watch Seasons 1 and 2 of Solo Leveling on Crunchyroll, with both subtitles and dubbed audio in English.

The saying goes that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, but that wasn’t true for Sung Jinwoo, who was considered the world’s weakest hunter. After a devastating encounter with monsters in a dangerous dungeon, Jinwoo mysteriously returned with a unique System – a program visible only to him – that’s steadily increasing his abilities. Driven by this, he’s determined to uncover the truth behind his newfound powers and the origins of the dungeon.
