
The horror film Sinners has achieved a major milestone, becoming a defining movie of its time. It received an impressive number of nominations for the 2026 Academy Awards, as announced by the Academy today. Director Ryan Coogler’s film is now considered a culturally significant work.
This morning, the Academy announced that Sinners received an incredible 16 nominations, breaking the previous record of 14 nominations held by La La Land, All About Eve, and Titanic.
