Grace Caroline Currey, known for her role in Shazam! Fury of the Gods, is trading battles with supervillains for a spooky new challenge. She’s set to star in The Freeze, a horror movie centered around a haunted refrigerator. Currey will play Morgan, a mother investigating her son’s disappearance, and the search may lead her to a very surprising source of answers.
After her young son goes missing, Morgan (Grace Caroline Currey) desperately hopes for his return, even as her family begins to fall apart. When she buys an old refrigerator from the 1940s, she finds a secret inside that starts to freeze her home – and may reveal what happened to her son.
I’m so excited about The Freeze! It’s a feature film based on Trevor Mirosh’s short film from 2017, which actually won an award for its amazing visual effects! The original short was only 10 minutes long, but it had such a cool premise, I always hoped it would be expanded into a full movie. And now it is! It’s currently being finished up, and IndustryWorks Studios is showing it off to potential distributors at the American Film Market – basically a huge event where people in the film industry connect and make deals. I can’t wait to see where this goes!
