With Scream 7 hitting theaters this week, reviews are in, and they haven’t been kind. While the film reunites much of the original cast, including Neve Campbell, critics seem to think a simpler approach wasn’t the right move for the series.
Currently, Scream 7 has a 44% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 36 reviews. If this score remains the same, it will be the lowest-rated film in the entire Scream series, falling just below Scream 3 from 2000, which has a 45% rating.
More to come.
