I especially enjoyed playing Sully and really advocated for his character and voice. He’s a complex and fascinating character that book fans already know and love.

Patterson explained that the fans deserved more respect than to believe he would dismiss the show or them. Ultimately, he said, everyone involved is a fan of the characters and stories, and he’ll always stand up for what he believes is right.
