Next month, audiences in the United States will be able to see Project Hail Mary, a new science fiction adventure film. The movie is directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, and stars Ryan Gosling as Dr. Ryland Grace.

What happens in the Project Hail Mary final trailer?

The upcoming movie, Project Hail Mary, promises a thrilling sci-fi adventure. Ryan Gosling plays an astronaut who wakes up in space with amnesia and has to team up with an alien to prevent the destruction of Earth.

In the movie, high school science teacher Ryland Grace (played by Ryan Gosling) finds himself on a spaceship, far from Earth, with no memory of his past. As his memories return, he discovers he’s on a critical mission: to figure out why the sun is fading and find a way to save Earth from being wiped out. He’ll need all his scientific skills and creativity, but he might not have to face this challenge alone, thanks to an unlikely friendship.

The movie stars Ryan Gosling alongside Sandra Hüller, who plays Eva Strait. Lionel Boyce appears as Office Steve Hatch, Ken Leung as Yáo Li-Jie, and Milana Vayntrub as Olesya Ilyukhina.

Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are the creative forces behind the popular Spider-Verse films. They’ve also directed well-known movies like Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2009), 21 Jump Street (2012), The Lego Movie (2014), and 22 Jump Street (2014). Beyond directing, they’ve produced films including Brigsby Bear (2017), The Lego Batman Movie (2017), The Mitchells vs. the Machines (2021), and Cocaine Bear (2023), among others.
