Okay, fellow fantasy fans, HBO just dropped the first look at House of the Dragon season 3, and things are about to get seriously epic! We’re going to see Rhaenyra and Daemon preparing for what look like some of the most brutal battles in the whole Game of Thrones universe. It’s been a long wait – almost two years! – but House of the Dragon season 3 is finally coming back to HBO in the summer of 2026. And get this: it’ll be eight episodes of non-stop action as the Dance of the Dragons really heats up. I’m already counting down the days!
HBO hasn’t announced a premiere date yet, but they’ve finally released new photos offering a glimpse of Rhaenyra (played by Emma D’Arcy) and Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) in season 3. One photo shows Rhaenyra looking thoughtfully at the crown she received from her father, King Viserys I Targaryen, while the other depicts Daemon commanding his forces on the battlefield in the Riverlands.
