Although Marvel’s Phase 6 currently has fewer announced projects than previous phases, it still includes some highly anticipated releases. Starting in mid-2025, Phase 6 will bring new films like Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Avengers: Doomsday.
Marvel Studios recently launched four new projects—three shows on Disney+ and one movie—as part of Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They’ve all been well-received by both critics and fans, making it difficult to rank them because each one is so strong.
Ranking Every MCU Phase 6 Release So Far
4. Marvel Zombies

I was really excited for Marvel Zombies, it’s the second Disney+ show kicking off Phase 6! It’s a mature-rated spin-off based on that awesome zombie episode from Season 1 of What If…? Seeing Iman Vellani, Dominique Thorne, Hailee Steinfeld, and so many other familiar faces from the MCU battling a zombie outbreak was wild. But the best part? Watching our heroes go up against zombie versions of Scarlet Witch and the Infinity Hulk – talk about a tough fight!
Although the series delivered exciting plots, action, and drama, its separate timeline keeps it distanced from the central storyline of the main Marvel Cinematic Universe. Plus, it’s unclear if the show will get a second season, which raises doubts about its future, despite some ideas already being considered for a continuation.
While Zombies boasts impressive visuals and an engaging story – particularly showcasing the incredible abilities of Scarlet Witch and Hulk – its limited scope and brief length prevent it from being truly outstanding.
3. Eyes of Wakanda

As a huge film fan, I was really blown away by Eyes of Wakanda. It offers a completely fresh and exciting take on Wakanda’s history, imagining things in a different timeline. The show, split into four half-hour episodes, dives into different eras, following Wakanda’s incredible spies as they try to recover stolen vibranium artifacts – things that were taken from them over hundreds of years. It’s a really compelling story!
As a huge MCU fan, I have to say that Eyes of Wakanda was a visual feast! It really showcased the incredible warriors of Wakanda and just how formidable they are. What I especially loved was getting a fresh take on the Iron Fist – it was a fantastic surprise!
Like its predecessor, Zombies, Eyes of Wakanda felt too short. The show’s limited length – both the overall season and each individual episode – didn’t fully explore its interesting world. While technically sound and generally engaging, viewers were left wanting more, but a second season hasn’t been announced yet.
2. Wonder Man

Marvel’s next series, Wonder Man, will premiere in 2026. This eight-episode show follows Simon Williams as he navigates the world of Hollywood while secretly being a superhero. Starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Sir Ben Kingsley, the story centers on Simon and Trevor Slattery trying to land roles in a movie within the Marvel universe – a remake of Wonder Man. However, they’re being pursued by the Department of Damage Control, who believe Simon is dangerous.
Critics and fans alike praised Wonder Man as a standout MCU series. Unlike typical superhero shows, it delved into the character of Simon Williams, exploring his relationship with Trevor and offering a compelling look at their dynamic—one of the most fascinating pairings in the entire franchise.
The Wonder Man series ended positively, with Simon and Trevor escaping the Department of Damage Control. While their future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe remains uncertain, the show has generated excitement about how Simon’s story will unfold in upcoming Marvel projects.
1. The Fantastic Four: First Steps

The movie The Fantastic Four: First Steps launched Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Featuring Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, the film presents a different version of the Fantastic Four, who must save their Earth (known as Earth-828) from the planet-eating Galactus and his herald, the Silver Surfer.
Instead of a typical origin story, the new Fantastic Four movie is a sweeping adventure set in the 1960s. It successfully captures the personalities of these iconic heroes from the comics, features the best portrayal of Galactus to date, and smartly skips over the familiar tale of how the team gained their powers. The result is one of the most compelling standalone Marvel films in a while.
The Fantastic Four will be central to the next two Avengers films, officially joining the main Marvel Cinematic Universe (Earth-616) and teaming up with heroes from different realities. Although their recent movie wrapped up their individual storyline, they’re expected to be important characters throughout the MCU for years to come.
