President Trump Calls NBC’s Seth Meyers “Deranged Lunatic”

President Trump is continuing to criticize late-night television, and his latest target is a popular host on NBC.

The President called Seth Meyers a “deranged lunatic” on his TruthSocial account, criticizing Meyers’ views and saying his behavior on television was inappropriate. He also criticized NBC, questioning why the network continues to employ someone he considers to be so unreasonable.

Trump kept attacking Seth Meyers, calling him one of the least funny people on television. He specifically said Meyers might be the worst performer, live or otherwise, in television history.

The president strongly suggested that comedian Seth Meyers could be breaking the law. He claimed that Meyers’ lack of talent, low ratings, and frequent criticism of him were potentially illegal, writing in a social media post, “NO TALENT, NO RATINGS, 100% ANTI TRUMP, WHICH IS PROBABLY ILLEGAL!!!”

Donald Trump has a history of aggressively responding to late-night hosts. Previously, he strongly criticized Jimmy Kimmel after Kimmel joked about a threat to Charlie Kirk, even attempting to have Kimmel removed from ABC’s programming. However, Disney, ABC’s parent company, quickly reinstated Kimmel due to significant criticism from celebrities and former supporters.

When he came back to Jimmy Kimmel Live!, it helped some people regain trust in Disney. But the company didn’t respond fast enough to the situation, and a lot of viewers are still upset with the studio.

Shortly after Jimmy Kimmel faced suspension, President Trump attempted to have Jimmy Fallon’s show canceled as well. He publicly called for “Fake News NBC” to be the next target and disparaged both Fallon and Seth Meyers, calling them “two total losers” for expressing negative views about him.
