Pokémon Z-A Home Support Window & Free Bonus Officially Revealed

Okay, so after waiting almost six months, they’re finally adding Pokémon Home support to Pokémon Legends: Z-A! For those who don’t know, Pokémon Home is basically a cloud service where I can store and move my Pokémon between all the newer games. It’s awesome because I can transfer my favorites from games like Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, through Legends: Arceus, and even Scarlet & Violet – it’s a huge help for completing my Pokedex!

Until recently, the newest Pokémon game, Legends: Z-A, wasn’t compatible with transferring Pokémon. This meant any Pokémon you caught in Legends: Z-A couldn’t be used in other games.

Good news for Pokémon players! Starting this spring, those with games in the Z-A series will be able to connect them to Pokémon Home, according to the official Pokémon website.

Pokémon Home Support Is Coming To Z-A Soon

But There Are Some Major Limitations

The announcement says that players will be able to transfer Pokémon from Legends: Z-A to Pokémon Home starting this spring, though the exact date hasn’t been revealed yet. It often takes a little while for new games to be compatible with Pokémon Home. Recently, some players expressed disappointment that the re-released FireRed and LeafGreen didn’t have this feature.

There’s a key restriction with the transfer feature. You won’t be able to send Pokémon from Legends: Z-A to older Pokémon games. And, importantly, once you move a Pokémon to Legends: Z-A from an older game, it can’t be transferred back.

It’s important to keep these restrictions in mind because they mean your friends won’t be able to access their original game worlds. Like other games within Home, Pokémon can only be transferred to games where they are naturally found.

You’ll Get Some Free Bonuses For Participating

Get A Mysterious Gift And More

When the ability to connect and move Pokémon from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet to Pokémon HOME is released, players will receive special gifts. Anyone who transfers Pokémon will get a Chikorita, Tepig, and Totodile as Mystery Gifts in the Pokémon HOME mobile app.

Plus, some Pokémon transferred from Pokémon Legends: Z-A to Pokémon Home will be usable in the new Pokémon Champions game, launching in April. As part of a special event, you can also send Chesnaught, Delphox, Greninja, and Eternal Flower Floette to Champions to unlock their Mega Stones for stadium battles.
