James Gunn announced on X, formerly known as Twitter, that six new songs have been added to the official #Peacemaker playlist, just in time for the extended finale streaming this Thursday on Max.
Shared on October 6, 2025, the post connected to the official Spotify playlist and gained over 219,000 views.
The season finale of Peacemaker features a new soundtrack with a mix of glam rock, heavy metal, and power ballads, reflecting the episode’s high-stakes drama. Following his escape from the Nazi alternate reality, Peacemaker turns himself in to the authorities due to possessing an illegal device. The story now centers on Chris Smith while in custody, and the difficult decisions faced by his team.
The season finale, called “Full Nelson,” will debut on HBO Max on October 9, 2025, at 9 p.m. Eastern Time. James Gunn shared that the ending he envisioned for the episode was the same idea he originally presented to Warner Bros. as a roadmap for the future of the DC Universe. In the episode, ARGUS and Peacemaker’s team will travel to different universes using a device called the Quantum Unfolding Chamber.
The season concludes with an exciting finale featuring a powerful soundtrack and significant events that will shape the future of the DC Universe.
