A new Punisher comic series is coming in February 2026 from Marvel, and it will bring back one of Frank Castle’s deadliest foes. Written by Benjamin Percy with art by José Louis Soares, the series will see Frank Castle forced to confront his past, and it will also resurrect Jigsaw. As a huge action movie fan, I’m really excited about this new thriller! It’s the directorial debut of Philip G. Atwell, and get this – the fight choreography is by the legendary Corey Yuen, who worked on The Transporter! Jason Statham plays a beaten-up FBI agent tracking down a shadowy assassin. Taron Egerton is known for action roles in films like the Kingsman series and the recent Netflix movie Carry-On. However, this new role is particularly intense and challenging. As a huge Star Wars fan, I was really excited to see the latest issue of the main Star Wars comic, Star Wars #6, drop on October 1, 2025. And wow, it delivered! The comic showed Luke Skywalker completely decked out in clone trooper armor. It was a seriously cool visual – and apparently the first time ever in official Star Wars storytelling – across movies, shows, comics, and novels – that a Jedi has worn a full set of clone trooper gear. It’s a moment I definitely didn’t expect, and it’s already become a favorite!
DC and Marvel are planning more team-ups! In March 2026, DC will release Superman/Spider-Man #1, followed by Marvel’s Spider-Man/Superman #1 the next month. These comics celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first time these iconic heroes met. It’s a good opportunity to revisit the history of DC and Marvel crossovers, from their initial pairings in the 1970s, through the many team-ups of the 1990s, to the long-awaited collaborations fans finally got in the 2000s.
