Ryan Reynolds Is Working On A Movie With Gilmore Girls’ Creator (And How Snarky-Fast Is His Character Going To Talk?)

Ryan Reynolds and Amy Sherman-Palladino are creating a live-action Eloise movie for Netflix, inspired by the classic book series from the 1950s by Kay Thompson and Hilary Knight. Reynolds will produce the film through his production company, Maximum Effort, alongside MRC, and will also star as a new villain. Mae Schenk will play Eloise. The movie won’t be a direct adaptation of any specific book, but rather a completely original story, with Sherman-Palladino writing the screenplay alongside Hannah Marks and Linda Woolverton. Filming is scheduled to begin later this month.

22 Years Later, Morgan Freeman’s Other “Unspeakably Bad” Stephen King Adaptation Finds Success on Streaming

The 2003 science fiction horror film, Dreamcatcher, was directed by Lawrence Kasdan and written by William Goldman – a promising combination of talent. However, despite this, the movie was a box office failure. Costing $68 million to produce, it only earned $75 million, and was largely disliked by both critics and audiences.
