He also appeared in Regretting You, a film based on a Colleen Hoover novel, which earned $8.1 million domestically over the same weekend – just slightly more than Black Phone 2, making it the weekend’s top-grossing film.

The ensemble includes frequent Murphy collaborators like Sarah Paulson (known from “American Crime Story”), Naomi Watts (“Feud: Capote vs. The Swans”), and Niecy Nash (“Scream Queens”), alongside reality star and businesswoman Kim Kardashian (who appeared in “American Horror Story: Delicate”), and screen icon Glenn Close (famous for “Fatal Attraction” and FX’s “Damages”).

Rachel Sennott created, wrote, and stars in the new comedy series, I Love LA, which premiered on November 2nd with the episode “Block Her.” The show centers on a group of friends who rely heavily on each other as they reconnect and try to figure out their careers. Critics have responded very positively to I Love LA, giving it an 81% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

According to Variety, Ryan Reynolds will star in a movie adaptation of the classic children’s book series Eloise. Mae Schenk will play Eloise, and Reynolds will portray the film’s villain.

There’s been discussion about potentially reuniting Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson for a new season of the show, prompted by earlier comments from creator Nic Pizzolatto and McConaughey himself. Harrelson recently shared his thoughts on the Today show while promoting his new movie, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, and surprisingly stated he wouldn’t reprise his role as Martin Hart. He believes the original series ended perfectly and doesn’t want to risk ruining that with another season.

I remember when George Clooney really hit his stride in the early 2000s with those cool Ocean’s Eleven movies. But he didn’t stop there – he kept taking on roles that critics genuinely loved. Some of his best work, in my opinion, includes films like Michael Clayton, The Descendants, and Syriana – he even won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for Syriana! Now, he’s back with a new film called Jay Kelly, which is hitting select theaters and streaming on Netflix starting November 14th.

If you’re eagerly anticipating the next Sherlock Holmes movie, this show is a great option in the meantime. It’s based on the popular Inspector Maigret novels by George Simenon, which began publishing in 1931 and now includes 75 books and 28 short stories. While Maigret’s adventures have been adapted for screen many times, the 2025 version offers a fresh, modern interpretation of the character.

The next installment is Godzilla Minus One. Director and writer Yamazaki is back, and just like the first film’s title sparked a lot of debate, this new movie’s title is also open to interpretation. Godzilla Minus One‘s title likely holds multiple meanings that will connect it to the previous film and reveal what the story is about.
