In the beginning, NCIS intentionally highlighted its connection to JAG through guest appearances, reminding viewers of their shared universe. As JAG neared the end of its ten-season run, these crossovers happened less often, and people started to forget just how much JAG influenced NCIS. JAG essentially paved the way for NCIS, even introducing some of the characters who would become key members of Gibbs’ team. Interestingly, the NCIS concept itself started as a two-part episode on JAG, and not all of those initial characters made the transition to the new series.

A sequel to the hit movie Zootopia is officially in the works! Zootopia 2 will bring back familiar faces from the original, and also introduce exciting new characters, including Dwayne Johnson as a dik-dik named Zeke. This is the first new Zootopia project since the release of Zootopia+, a series of short animated films on Disney+, and it’s already become a popular topic on the streaming service.

As a huge fan of the Wizards of Waverly Place universe, I was really excited for Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, and it delivered! It was great seeing a new generation of wizards – Justin’s sons, Roman and Milo, plus their adopted sister, Billie. But the season two finale completely blew me away! It turned out Alex was actually Billie’s mother! And in a truly heroic move, she jumped into a portal – taking the villain with her – all to protect her daughter. It was a fantastic, emotional ending!

Thanks to streaming, the genre’s popularity is spreading beyond the South, new artists are gaining recognition before even hitting the radio, and more and more musicians are successfully mixing country with other genres like pop and soul. First Reaction – The Slumber Party Massacre is a fun 80s slasher.

The action thriller is directed by David Ayer, known for The Beekeeper, and written by Sylvester Stallone, a co-star of Jason Statham in The Expendables. It’s based on Chuck Dixon’s 2014 novel, Levon’s Trade. The film stars Jason Statham, alongside David Harbour (Stranger Things, Thunderbolts), Michael Peña (End of Watch), Jason Flemyng (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels), Arianna Rivas (The Black Phone 2), Noemi Gonzalez (Selena: The Series), and Emmett J. Scanlan (Peaky Blinders, Kin). While critics weren’t as impressed with this film as they were with The Beekeeper, audiences have enjoyed it.

Okay, so I just saw from Daniel Richtman over on Patreon that we’re finally getting a first look at ‘The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping’! Apparently, the teaser trailer is dropping this Thursday, November 20th. It’ll be the first official footage from the movie, which is exciting because it’s not due out until November 20, 2026. It’s kind of cool that the teaser is coming out exactly a year before the film hits theaters!
