Just over a year after Friends finished its ten seasons, Kudrow partnered with Michael Patrick King, known for Sex and the City, to create a new show specifically for her, appropriately named The Comeback.

As high-quality TV became more popular, miniseries also appealed to film actors looking for meaningful roles beyond big-budget franchises. Because they have a set number of episodes, miniseries offer complete storylines and creative control, making them particularly attractive to actors used to working on films.
Paramount+ has ordered a final, six-episode season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, which will begin airing after the premiere of season 3 in June 2025. Filming for season 4 was completed in mid-2025, and it’s scheduled to launch on Paramount+ in 2026, followed by season 5 in 2027.
While fans of The Hunger Games were thrilled to learn Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson will reprise their roles as Katniss and Peeta in Sunrise on the Reaping, some were disappointed the news leaked before the official announcement. Things get intense quickly when Percy has a dream that his friend Grover has been captured by the Cyclops Polyphemus. As the tree begins to die and Luke remains free, Percy and Annabeth realize they have to go on another quest: to find the Golden Fleece, the only thing that can save the tree. While these events largely follow the plot of Rick Riordan’s book, The Sea of Monsters, a frustrating storytelling choice from the first season has reappeared, and it’s just as confusing and unwelcome as before.
