With the conclusion of Dragon Ball Super after a decade, the iconic Dragon Ball franchise has a fresh opportunity to recapture its original brilliance. Though Akira Toriyama is no longer with us, Toyotarou will likely keep writing the Dragon Ball manga, and Toei Animation will continue producing Dragon Ball anime. Both will probably draw inspiration from Dragon Ball Super, but will forge their own unique paths. Hopefully, Toyotarou and Toei can build on their experiences and create Dragon Ball stories that are as compelling as those from Dragon Ball Z.

Adult Swim is famous for its wacky and funny animated shows, but it also offers some excellent live-action programs and more dramatic series. Starting November 1st, you can watch Bruce Willis’s popular 1996 film, Last Man Standing, on Tubi for free. Directed by Walter Hill, the movie offers a dark and gritty spin on the traditional Western tale of a lone hero. Willis plays John Smith, a quiet stranger who arrives in the rough border town of Jericho during the Prohibition era. His quick stop soon turns dangerous as he finds himself caught between two warring gangs – the Irish and Italian mobs – who are battling for control of the illegal alcohol business.

As a huge anime fan, I was really excited to hear about the English voice actors for Jujutsu Kaisen. The animation is done by MAPPA in Japan, and they need local actors to create the English dubs. I recently read an interview from TopMob where Lauren Rouse chatted with the cast – Adam McArthur (who voices Yuji Itadori), Robbie Daymond (Megumi Fushiguro), Anne Yatco (Nobara Kugisaki), Kaiji Tang (Satoru Gojo), and Kayleigh McKee (Yuta Okkotsu) – at New York Comic-Con. It’s cool to get a peek behind the scenes and hear from the people who bring these characters to life!

Just days after Adam Driver mentioned a potential movie about Ben Solo, Star Wars fans have launched a campaign to make it happen. A plane flew over Disney Studios with a banner reading “Save The Hunt for Ben Solo,” as reported by Collider. You can see photos of the campaign below.

The next episode of Law & Order: SVU, titled “Feed the Craving,” will premiere on October 23rd and centers around the idea of uncontrollable impulses. The story begins with the kidnapping of a woman while she’s in labor. Rollins, back on the team, and Curry will investigate by following leads from the woman’s doula. Eventually, Carisi will attempt to secure a confession to solve the case, and Benson will be involved as usual, even though her boss, Chief Tynan, is trying to move her to an administrative position.

IMAX recently shared its upcoming movie lineup with shareholders, revealing 20 films planned for release over the next year. The schedule includes highly anticipated titles like The Odyssey, Super Mario Movie 2, and Avengers: Doomsday.

Game of Thrones became famous for breaking the typical fantasy mold. It built a complex world filled with many different groups all competing for control, and it wasn’t a simple story of heroes versus villains. The show offered a surprisingly unpredictable universe, with each character and noble house adding to the intrigue. This complexity is likely why the next book in the series, The Winds of Winter, hasn’t been released yet, but the existing material remains incredibly well-crafted and deserves recognition.

Fans got excited in 2022 when Guillermo del Toro mentioned potentially making the film using stop-motion animation and shared some old, impressive CGI tests. However, the project hasn’t moved forward, and the director recently stated he doubts it will ever be made.
