The recently released prequel to It has been getting positive reviews. It’s led by Andy and Barbara Muschietti, who have a history with Stephen King adaptations, and Jason Fuchs and Brad Caleb Kane are the showrunners. Bill Skarsgard is returning as Pennywise, and the cast also includes Jovan Adepo, Taylour Paige, James Remar, Chris Chalk, Kimberly Guerrero, and others. The first episode, It: Welcome to Derry, aired on October 27th.

The show has consistently stayed true to the plot of Mick Herron’s Slough House book series. This series includes nine novels, as well as shorter stories and collections that expand on the narrative between each book.

Okay, so 2025 might not be overflowing with romantic comedies, but I have to say, Regretting You actually surprised me with two compelling love stories, both pulled from Colleen Hoover’s It Ends With Us. You’ve got the sweet, youthful connection between Mason Thames and Mckenna Grace as Miller and Clara – honestly, I’m still thinking about their coming-of-age story – and then there’s the more established, complex relationship between Allison Williams and Dave Franco as Morgan and Jonah. TV shows sometimes change genres for different reasons. Sometimes the story naturally evolves in a new direction, while other times a show has to change to stay on the air. Following two recent critically acclaimed horror films, this new project, Keeper, reflects Perkins’ growing reputation for creating films that are not only frightening but also emotionally resonant.

Throughout season 3 of Will Trent, we saw Ormewood briefly date Ariana Madix, Amanda enter a relationship, and Faith explore dating several people. By the end of the season, most of the characters were single – except for Angie, who is expecting Seth’s child. However, just because they’re currently unattached doesn’t mean their past relationships should be revisited.
