It: Welcome To Derry Is Already Fixing The Movies’ Biggest Complaint

As a huge fan of Stephen King’s It, I’m really excited about the new HBO series. While the movies mainly showed us the Losers Club battling Pennywise, the show seems to be digging much deeper into the history of Derry itself. From what I’ve heard, It: Welcome to Derry is planned to run for multiple seasons, and the first one will focus on everything that happened before the events we saw in the original story, leading right up to the burning of the Black Spot.

Fifty years after its theatrical debut, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is experiencing a resurgence in popularity, currently ranking as the seventh most-watched movie on Hulu. It’s likely you’re already humming a tune from this cult classic! Directed by Jim Sharman and written by Richard O’Brien, the film follows Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon) whose unfortunate flat tire leaves them stranded at a bizarre castle, where they become entangled in a wild, otherworldly conflict. 8 Action Shows Better Than Reacher

Amazon Prime Video’s Reacher has big shoes to fill, following the 2012 movie adaptation starring Tom Cruise. Luckily, both critics and viewers have generally enjoyed the show. However, it’s not without flaws, and it’s probably not the greatest action series ever made.

10 Planned DC Superhero Movies That Never Took Flight

Many Superman and Batman movies have been planned but never made. This list, however, focuses on heroes who haven’t yet appeared in a film, with one exception: a Justice League movie that would have launched a shared cinematic universe well before the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Other projects, like Sgt. Rock and Metal Men, are still being considered for James Gunn’s DC Universe.

Stephen Graham Stars in First Look at ‘A Thousand Blows’ Season 2

This drama is based on real stories of people struggling to survive in London’s tough East End during the 1880s. A year after previous events, Hezekiah (Malachi Kirby) is broken, and Sugar Goodson (Stephen Graham) is isolated and battling alcoholism. Just when the area seems doomed, Mary Carr (Erin Doherty) returns with her trusted ally, Alice Diamond (Darci Shaw), determined to rebuild her gang and regain control. Mary always has a scheme, and this one is her most dangerous yet, putting everyone she cares about at risk.

Ryan Reynolds Is Working On A Movie With Gilmore Girls’ Creator (And How Snarky-Fast Is His Character Going To Talk?)

Ryan Reynolds and Amy Sherman-Palladino are creating a live-action Eloise movie for Netflix, inspired by the classic book series from the 1950s by Kay Thompson and Hilary Knight. Reynolds will produce the film through his production company, Maximum Effort, alongside MRC, and will also star as a new villain. Mae Schenk will play Eloise. The movie won’t be a direct adaptation of any specific book, but rather a completely original story, with Sherman-Palladino writing the screenplay alongside Hannah Marks and Linda Woolverton. Filming is scheduled to begin later this month.
