As a huge Avatar fan, I’ve really loved seeing all the different Na’vi clans they’ve shown us on Pandora. We first met the Omaticaya, who live in the forests, in the first movie. Then, The Way of Water introduced the Metkayina, a clan that’s all about life in the reefs. Now, in Avatar: Fire and Ash, it looks like we’re getting the Mangkwan Clan, who seem to be connected to fire, and led by a new villain named Varang, played by Oona Chaplin. It’s great to see even more of Pandora’s cultures!

Living among the Na’vi completely changed Jake’s beliefs and who he was loyal to, causing him to abandon the human military’s goals and oppose Quaritch. In Avatar: The Way of Water, Quaritch returns as a Na’vi avatar after his original body is destroyed. And in Avatar: Fire and Ash, he gradually starts to understand Pandora in the same way he’s trying to wipe it out.
