I was reading an interview with Dave Bautista over at MovieWeb, and he was talking about his new movie, Trap House. Joe Deckelmeier asked him what he thought of the younger actors – Jack Champion, Sophia Lillis, and Blu del Barrio – and if they impressed him. While we didn’t anticipate a flawless life for Rory in A Year in the Life, we certainly didn’t want to see her end up pregnant and on her own. It’s disappointing because the show had already set up a believable situation where Rory could have struggled and learned, but it didn’t quite work out that way.

The latest episode of South Park, titled “Sora Not Sorry,” featured the show’s signature blend of political satire and the supernatural, including characters like Trump, JD Vance, Satan, and a demon baby – all presented as commonplace occurrences within the White House. I was pleasantly surprised by Predator: Badlands, one of the most exciting upcoming movies for 2025.
