The film takes the simple story of How the Grinch Stole Christmas and turns it into a detailed backstory, exploring the world of Whoville, the Grinch’s difficult childhood, and even offering a commentary on how much we buy. While some find it a strange, brightly colored fantasy that fits in well with other holiday movies, revisiting it now, 25 years later, shows some flaws. The makeup and sets still look great, and Jim Carrey’s performance is still energetic, but certain aspects haven’t held up over time.

As a fan, I really hoped we’d see Elizabeth Olsen’s vision for Scarlet Witch continue in the MCU, and while that’s still possible, it doesn’t seem likely to happen anytime soon. Aside from her voice work on the Marvel Zombies animated series, she isn’t currently scheduled to return as Wanda. It’s been over three years since we last saw her in live-action in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and honestly, her career is looking pretty varied these days, which is great to see!

Ryan Coogler will direct the third Black Panther movie, according to reports. He revealed this during a panel for his film Sinners at Deadline’s Contenders Film: Los Angeles, stating he’s returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe to finish the Black Panther trilogy. Deadline confirmed that Coogler is actively working on Black Panther 3 as his next project. He later emphasized the film’s progress, jokingly saying he’d normally avoid confirming such news, but assured everyone, “We’re working on it hard… Yeah, it’s the next movie.”

During a panel at Motor City Comic Con featuring Mike Flanagan and Kate Siegel, ScreenRant’s Joe Deckelmeier and Grant Hermanns heard Flanagan discuss his previous work with John Ferguson on the 2019 film Doctor Sleep, a sequel to The Shining. Ferguson then shared his thoughts, stating:

Now, in season 23 of NCIS, Gibbs’ old colleagues are reopening the investigation – a death involving a naval officer. This will allow the show to revisit some of the principles that have guided Gibbs throughout his career, even though Harmon’s character doesn’t fully recall them all.

Many fans have fond memories of the 1997 film Anaconda and are excited about the upcoming new installment, hoping it will launch a successful franchise. The wait won’t be long – it’s scheduled for release in theaters this December as a self-aware reboot. The trailer suggests the film will use meta-commentary and allow the actors to showcase their comedic talents. In an interview with People magazine, Black praised the Ant-Man star, saying:
