Both of these details are fun, self-aware references that pay homage to the past.

Over the years, we’ve seen several different live-action Spider-Man movie series, plus animated films like Into the Spider-Verse. And that doesn’t even include all the times Spider-Man’s story has been restarted in the comics themselves. A writer recently expressed frustration with this pattern, particularly how often it happens within the comic books, telling PopVerse:

Even though the second season of Fallout doesn’t premiere until December 17th, viewers on Prime Video have pushed the first season into the top 10, making it the second most popular show on the platform this week. With the new season just a month away, it’s clear fans are excited for its return.

The director recently discussed Season 2 of The Creep Tapes on the Slasher Radio podcast, which launches today on Shudder. Both Brice and Duplass have expressed interest in bringing Duplass’ character, Peachfuzz, back for another movie sequel, but so far, fans have only seen the character appear in the TV series. When asked about the future of the film franchise and how the Shudder series fits in, Brice explained:
