Lioness, an action series full of espionage, premiered in July 2023 and stars Zoe Saldaña as Joe McNamara, a high-ranking CIA officer in charge of an undercover counter-terrorism team. After a successful second season with higher ratings and positive reviews, Paramount+ announced a third season in August 2025, and filming began in October.
