Nintendo has announced its plans for Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2025 in the US. They’ll be offering deals on games and some accessories, along with special events in stores. However, don’t expect to see big price cuts on Nintendo consoles and other hardware.
Key Dates and Locations
I’m so excited! Nintendo just announced their “Cyber Deals” are coming to the My Nintendo Store and Nintendo eShop starting November 20th and lasting until December 3rd at 11:59 PM Pacific Time. Get ready to shop!

Starting November 23rd, you’ll find discounts on physical game copies at certain stores, including Nintendo’s locations in New York and San Francisco.
I’m so excited! Starting November 30th, Nintendo is offering discounts on certain Samsung MicroSD Express cards. You’ll be able to find them at Nintendo stores and at a bunch of other retailers too, which is awesome!
Game and Accessory Discounts
Starting November 23rd, Nintendo is discounting its original Nintendo Switch games.

The following games will be priced at about US $39.99 at participating retailers:
-
Princess Peach: Showtime!
-
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
-
Donkey Kong Country Returns HD
-
Luigi’s Mansion 3
-
Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe
The following games will be priced at about US $29.99:
-
Super Mario Odyssey
-
Nintendo Switch Sports
-
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
-
Splatoon 3

Some of these games, like Echoes of Wisdom, Super Mario Odyssey, and Splatoon 3, will play even better on the new Nintendo Switch 2 and may receive free upgrades to take advantage of the new hardware.
Amiibo and Accessories
Certain amiibo figures will be $10 off at stores that are participating in the promotion. This includes the Sage amiibo figures from The Legend of Zelda (Tulin, Yunobo, Riju, and Sidon), the Street Fighter 6 series (Jamie, Kimberly, and Luke), and the amiibo Card Starter Set.

Starting November 30th, select Samsung MicroSD Express cards that work with the Switch 2 will be available for $20 off the regular price.
What’s Not on Offer
Nintendo has stated that the Switch 2 console won’t be getting a significant price cut. The standard model will still cost $449.99, and the bundle that includes Mario Kart World will be priced at $499.99.

There aren’t any new, significantly discounted hardware packages available for the holidays this year.
In-Store Events & Merchandise
Nintendo has announced that its stores in San Francisco and New York will be decked out for the holidays with special decorations. They’ll also have gift offers available for a limited time, plus a unique line of winter-themed clothing and accessories.

Retail partners may host demo sessions for upcoming titles at select locations during weekends.
Observations & Context
Experts have observed that Nintendo’s recent discounts on its own games and accessories, while noticeable, aren’t as deep or frequent as the sales offered by competitors on their gaming consoles and related products.

This fits with Nintendo’s usual approach: keeping console prices steady and offering deals on games instead of significantly reducing the price of the hardware itself.
What Shoppers Should Know
Discounts aren’t available everywhere and depend on the store and your location. These offers are valid at participating stores only, and only as long as supplies last.
Sales start online on November 20th, with discounts in stores beginning November 23rd. Don’t expect big price drops on consoles themselves – the best deals will probably be on games and accessories.

Nintendo Switch owners upgrading to the new system might be pleased to find some older games will run better for free. Because special offers and limited stock can change rapidly from store to store, it’s a good idea to plan ahead so you don’t miss out.
Overall, Nintendo’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals for 2025 will focus on discounts for games and accessories, not big price cuts on consoles. While shoppers can expect to find good deals on software and storage, anyone hoping for significant hardware savings might be let down.
