Niecy Nash Watched Fatal Attraction With Glenn Close And Had To Ask Her If That ‘Booby’ Was Real Or Fake

I’m a huge Glenn Close fan, and it’s amazing to see how much she’s achieved – eight Oscar nominations is incredible! It’s a shame her new show with Kim Kardashian, All’s Fair, isn’t doing well – critics are being pretty harsh. But it was so cool to hear Niecy Nash talk about a recent cast watch party where they all watched Fatal Attraction. Apparently, Niecy was bold enough to ask Glenn about that iconic scene with the bunny – she actually asked about her ‘booby’ in the movie! It’s just so fun to see these Hollywood legends being normal and having a good time.

The cast of All’s Fair gathered at Kris Jenner’s house for a screening of Fatal Attraction after it was revealed on an episode of The Kardashians that Kim Kardashian had never seen the erotic thriller. Afterward, Sarah Paulson and Niecy Nash broke down the group’s reaction to a particularly spicy scene for ET, with Nash recalling:

We were watching ‘Fatal Attraction’ starring Glenn Close. There’s a scene where Michael Douglas throws her around, and her dress slips down. I jokingly asked Glenn, ‘Is that really you, or a body double?’ And she proudly replied, ‘Oh no, that’s all me!’

It’s unclear how common it was to use body doubles in films back in 1987 when the Michael Douglas thriller was released, but it likely wasn’t very frequent. Kim Kardashian recently discussed this on the latest episode of her show, The Kardashians – titled “I’m About to Lose My Shit” – which you can watch on Hulu.

We were always asking about the more intimate scenes, like whether it was really her or a stand-in. She’d confidently say it was her, which shocked us! She even admitted needing a few drinks to get through some of the kissing scenes, especially the one in the elevator. We loved hearing all the behind-the-scenes stories.

What Michael Douglas and Glenn Close did – having a drink before filming a love scene – wouldn’t be acceptable on set today, according to director Adrian Lyne. Filming intimate scenes has changed significantly since the movie Fatal Attraction. Now, there are much stricter rules and procedures to ensure actors feel safe, and intimacy coordinators are always present.

The cast of All’s Fair definitely had alcohol at their sleepover, and Niecy Nash revealed they even brainstormed a prank they decided not to actually pull off. She explained:

We were supposed to drunk prank call Michael Douglas, and we still owe him that call.

I doubt the actor from The American President regrets missing that event. Perhaps he’ll join their next casual get-together.

If you’re among those who haven’t seen the classic thriller Fatal Attraction, or if you’d like to revisit Glenn Close’s iconic performance as a memorable movie villain, you can now stream it with a Paramount+ subscription. And keep an eye out for a memorable scene involving a bird!
