New WandaVision Spinoff Casts Key Role Connected To The Maximoff Family

The Marvel TV show VisionQuest is adding two new actors to its cast. This series is intended to wrap up the storyline that began with WandaVision in 2026, bringing a conclusion to the trilogy on Disney+.

Just got word that Lauren Morais and Diane Morgan have joined the cast of VisionQuest! Morais is taking on the role of Lisa Molinari, a character from Marvel Comics who, from what I understand, has a pretty significant connection to Ruaridh Mollica’s character, Tommy Maximoff (also known as Speed). It sounds like their storylines will be intertwined, which is exciting!

Morgan will appear alongside Todd Stashwick’s character, Paladin, in an unspecified role. It’s currently unknown whether either actor will be a main cast member or appear only in a few episodes of the upcoming Phase 6 series.

The trailer for VisionQuest was shown at New York Comic-Con, with ScreenRant‘s Molly Freeman present. The show follows Paul Bettany’s character as he tries to recover his memories following his return in WandaVision. Disney+ has ordered eight episodes of the series.

Most Marvel Comics fans know Lisa Molinari as Coat of Arms. She and Thomas met while they were both in juvenile detention before he became a superhero. Later, she discovered a coat that granted her four arms and became the leader of both the Young Masters and the Masters of Evil.

Despite this, Lisa was committed to becoming a superhero herself, and she even started her own team called the Young Avengers. She planned to use the team as a creative project to investigate what it means to be a superhero. It’s currently unclear if the VisionQuest TV show will include any of these ideas.

James Spader will reprise his role as Ultron in the new spinoff series. T’Nia Miller joins the cast as Jocasta, a character from Marvel comics. The series was initially created by Jac Schaeffer, who also worked on WandaVision and Agatha All Along, but Terry Matalas is now leading the show as showrunner.

Next year, the Marvel Cinematic Universe will also release Wonder Man, scheduled to debut on January 27th. Daredevil: Born Again season 2, already renewed for a third season, is set to premiere on March 4, 2026.

VisionQuest is set to debut on Disney+ in 2026, with an exact premiere date to be announced later.
