According to Deadline, the movie The Housemaid is expected to make $13.8 million this weekend, bringing its total earnings to date to a strong amount. This represents a small decrease of only 10% from last weekend. In comparison, Avatar: Fire and Ash, which opened on the same day, is predicted to see a much larger drop of 43% in ticket sales this weekend.
This weekend, the movie The Housemaid is expected to reach a total of $74.6 million in domestic earnings and over $82 million worldwide. Although the final international numbers aren’t in yet, the film is already confirmed to surpass $80 million in global revenue.
The 2025 film The Housemaid is quickly approaching the $100.3 million worldwide total of 2024’s Madame Web. If it continues on this path, it will become Sydney Sweeney’s highest-grossing new movie since Anyone Buy You earned a significant $218.9 million globally in 2023.
