This month’s fresh start brings an influx of fresh movies and shows onto your preferred streaming platforms. If you find yourself missing some of your beloved titles, fear not! There’s a wealth of new content across various genres waiting for you this week.
Lilo & Stitch – September 3 (Disney+)
It’s highly likely that many people have already watched the live-action Lilo & Stitch in cinemas. But if you haven’t seen it yet or simply want to watch it again, you’ll be pleased to know that starting this week, the first billion-dollar Hollywood blockbuster of 2025 will be accessible via your Disney+ subscription.

Wednesday, Season 2, Part 2 – September 3 (Netflix)
Fans had a lengthy gap between watching the first season of Wednesday and the second one. Netflix further prolonged the wait until the conclusion of Season 2. Fortunately, this week marks the arrival of the remaining episodes of Season 2 of Wednesday. Fortunately, fans won’t have to wait too much longer for more Jenna Ortega, as production on Season 3 of Wednesday has already been approved.

Tony & Ziva – September 4 (Paramount+)
The TV series “NCIS” has been airing for over a decade, and it’s known for having a changing roster of characters. Among these, Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David, portrayed by Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo respectively, have become fan favorites. To catch the latest exploits of the beloved duo in their new spinoff series titled “Tony & Ziva“, a Paramount+ subscription is required since it won’t be airing on CBS.

The Paper, Season 1 – September 4 (Peacock)
In simple terms, “The Office” is widely regarded as one of the greatest sitcoms ever made by those who have watched it. This high acclaim sets a significant standard for its spinoff series, “The Paper,” which will soon be released. Streamable on Peacock with a subscription, this new series centers around Domhall Gleeson, portraying the editor-in-chief of a struggling newspaper, striving to maintain its relevance.

Highest 2 Lowest – September 5 (Apple TV+)
It’s been quite a while since Spike Lee and Denzel Washington have collaborated, but whenever they do so, it’s truly enchanting. The movie Highest 2 Lowest, which received high praise from critics upon its theater release, is now accessible this week with an Apple TV+ subscription.

The Great British Baking Show – September 5 (Netflix)
To be truthful, it’s safe to say that my Netflix subscription primarily exists for me to watch “The Great British Baking Show.” This show perfectly encapsulates comfort viewing, and I’m thrilled that it’s back this week with a fresh batch of 10 contestants ready to face various challenges on their journey towards being crowned the victor.
This month, September, promises to remain strong in terms of streaming content, as it will see the arrival of a fresh season for the popular show “Only Murders in the Building” and the premiere of the Marvel Zombies animated series, which are both highly anticipated.
