New On Netflix: 3 Shows Worth A Weekend Binge

Looking for something to watch on Netflix this weekend, March 20–22, 2026? Three shows stand out: a returning action-packed crime thriller, and two series that are currently trending among viewers in both the U.S. and worldwide. While Netflix doesn’t have a huge number of new releases right now, these three options are sure to provide plenty of entertainment with their action, suspense, and drama.

I had a great weekend catching up on Netflix! Everyone’s been talking about this new crime series, That Night – it’s only six episodes, but totally addictive, and it’s still hugely popular a week after dropping. I also checked out Mark Normand: None Too Pleased, which was hilarious, and if you’re into reality TV, Age of Attraction is a fun watch. Oh, and I was really excited for Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man – a perfect addition to the Peaky Blinders universe!

Furies

The Netflix series Furies is quickly becoming a hit, with its second season of six episodes released on Wednesday, March 18th. This French crime thriller delves into the dark side of Paris, following Lyna, a young woman whose life is shattered when her father is murdered on her birthday.

I’ve been completely hooked by Furies – people are calling it the “French John Wick,” and it definitely lives up to the hype with its non-stop action! The first season centers on Lyna and her intense quest for revenge after her father is murdered. This journey throws her right into the middle of a dangerous world controlled by six powerful crime families, collectively known as The Olympus. Along the way, she crosses paths with Selma, one of the most respected leaders – everyone calls her The Fury because she acts as a kind of peacekeeper and judge for all of them.

Season 2 of Furies, also known as Furies: Resistance, continues the story from the first season, which was a big hit on Netflix in 2024. It’s best to watch season 1 first, and now is a great time to do so – all 14 episodes are currently trending on Netflix worldwide.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure

Following its release on Thursday, March 19th, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure has become the most popular show on Netflix worldwide. Created by Hirohiko Araki, this acclaimed anime series is an exciting mix of genres, telling a grand, dark fantasy story. The series is broken up into different parts, and the newest, Part 7 – called “Steel Ball Run” – is set in an alternate universe and centers around a thrilling horse race across America.

First released in 2012, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is often ranked among the greatest anime ever made. The story starts in 1800s England and follows a long-lasting rivalry between brothers. Boasting an 88% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes and an 8.5 rating on IMDb, it’s a series any anime enthusiast should definitely check out.

Beauty In Black

Tyler Perry’s “Beauty in Black” is currently the most popular series on Netflix in the United States. Even though critics have had mixed reactions, the show consistently performs well for Netflix, and the recent release of its second season, part two on March 19th, is no exception. It’s expected to remain the top show heading into the weekend.

The series Beauty in Black tells the story of two very different women in Atlanta. Kimmie, portrayed by Taylor Polidore Williams, is a young woman working at a strip club to overcome financial hardship. She crosses paths with Mallory, played by Crystle Stewart, a wealthy and influential businesswoman who owns a hair care company. As their lives intertwine, Kimmie and Mallory become entangled in a web of secrets and betrayal—a hallmark of Tyler Perry’s storytelling.

Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black is expected to remain the most popular show on Netflix this weekend, from March 20th to 22nd, 2026, continuing its reign as the top choice for binge-watching.
