New MCU Hulk Version Gets First Look in Spider-Man 4 Merch

Fans have gotten a first glimpse of what Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk could be doing in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day, thanks to an unexpected appearance of the character in a new location.

What’s the new MCU Hulk look like?

Okay, so I just saw some interesting new merch photos from MyTimeToShine, and it’s got me even more hyped for the upcoming movie! It’s a Spider-Man backpack, which is cool enough on its own, but look closer! Hidden in the shadows behind Spidey are what appear to be silhouettes of characters like Hulk and Scorpion. It’s a subtle tease, but definitely suggests we’re going to see a lot more team-ups and maybe even some villains we weren’t expecting. A clever way to hint at what’s coming, if you ask me!

Although the picture is unclear, Hulk appears bigger, which supports the idea that we’ll see the classic, more aggressive “Savage Hulk” in the upcoming movie. There’s been talk for a while that Hulk and Spider-Man will fight in the film, and a more enraged Hulk would make that confrontation believable.

Destin Daniel Cretton, the director of the 2021 Marvel film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, is directing Spider-Man: Brand New Day. He was originally set to direct Avengers: The Kang Dynasty but left that project in November 2023.

Tom Holland will return as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the next movie. Zendaya, who has won an Emmy, and Jacob Batalon are also expected to be back. Joining them will be Sadie Sink (known from Stranger Things), Liza Colón-Zayas (from The Bear), Jon Bernthal, and Tillman, along with other cast members. Kevin Feige, Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, and Avi Arad are producing the film.

The next Spider-Man movie is scheduled to come out in U.S. cinemas on July 31, 2026, before the release of Avengers: Doomsday on December 18, 2026, and Avengers: Secret Wars on December 17, 2027.
