Netflix’s ‘One Piece’ Season 2 Clip Shows Off Pirate Crew’s Return

As the premiere of season two of Netflix’s live-action One Piece approaches in just under two weeks, Netflix is releasing more details and promotional materials. The first season, which debuted in 2023, was well-received for its faithful and imaginative adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s popular manga. To build even more anticipation, Netflix will screen the first two episodes in select theaters and has also shared a new clip from the premiere online.

A new sneak peek from One Piece Season 2 was revealed at IGN Fan Fest 2026. The clip shows Nami (played by Emily Rudd) and the Straw Hat crew deciding where to go next before embarking on their journey to the Grand Line. It’s a great look at how well the actors work together, bringing the unique personalities and relationships of the characters to life, led by Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy. They ultimately decide their destination will be Loguetown, a well-known place from the original manga.

The show includes a clever inside joke for fans. Nami playfully asks Usopp if they’ll skip Loguetown, referencing online discussions about which story arcs would be included in the live-action adaptation. Since the first season was announced, fans have been speculating about potential cuts to the series, with some worried Loguetown might be skipped to keep the pacing smooth. However, it’s become clear that Netflix and Tomorrow Studios are committed to staying true to the original story.

I just got a sneak peek at what’s coming in One Piece: Into the Grand Line, and fans are in for a treat! Season two takes the Straw Hats to some incredible new islands and really throws them into danger. They’ve stumbled onto a huge conspiracy, and now they’re being targeted by a shadowy group of assassins. This season will be eight episodes long, and it covers some of the most beloved early storylines from the original manga – all building towards something much bigger. In fact, the story is so expansive that they’re already working on Season 3 – yes, you heard that right! – to finish adapting the saga, and it promises even more characters and even higher stakes. Get ready, because this adventure is far from over!

Netflix

Everyone is eager to see how viewers react to Season 2 of Netflix’s One Piece, especially since the first season was a bigger hit than many expected. Hopefully, the upcoming seasons will be just as successful, leading to another renewal so the team can continue adapting the popular manga. This new clip confirms that the series is a fantastic and faithful adaptation, proving that Oda’s characters translate well to live-action and giving a new generation a chance to discover the story.
