Netflix has become known for its gripping mystery miniseries, and “His & Hers” is their newest success. But honestly, Rock Paper Scissors is the book that really got me hooked! It was an instant success, and it’s still incredibly popular – it has a 3.88-star rating on Goodreads with twice as many reviews as any of her other books. It’s amazing!

I just finished watching “Rock Paper Scissors,” and it’s a really tense movie about a couple, Adam and Amelia, taking a trip hoping to save their marriage. Alice Feeney, known for her unpredictable novels like Sometimes I Lie and Daisy Darker, delivers another twisty mystery with Rock Paper Scissors. If you enjoyed the suspense of His & Hers on Netflix, this book is a perfect next read.

Rock Paper Scissors Already Has a Netflix Adaptation in the Works

The series His & Hers is adapted from Alice Feeney’s 2020 novel of the same title. Both Anna and Jack are hiding things that could be connected to the case. The show His & Hers unravels the mystery one step at a time, but each answer leads to more questions. While viewers feel they’re getting closer to the truth with every reveal, His & Hers continues to surprise with unexpected twists right up to the very end.

News about a Netflix series based on Rock Paper Scissors first surfaced in 2021. Suzanne Mackie, known for producing shows like The Crown, was set to produce. In 2023, reports confirmed filming was taking place in Scotland.
