Beauty in Black Season 2 to continue next month
The second part of Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black Season 2 will begin streaming on March 19, 2026. The first part, which had eight episodes, premiered on September 11, 2025, and this second part will also have eight episodes.
Tyler Perry is the creative force behind the show, handling executive production, writing, and directing. The cast is large and includes Taylor Polidore Williams, Crystle Stewart, Ricco Ross, Amber Reign Smith, Xavier Smalls, and Julian Horton, as well as many other talented actors.
The story follows Kimmie and Mallory, two women with very different lives. Kimmie works as a dancer to get by, while Mallory is the wealthy owner of a beauty company, but is facing problems in her marriage. Their paths unexpectedly cross, changing both of their lives.
In a recent interview, Jon Stewart hinted at exciting developments in the second part of Season 2, promising major power changes, more painful betrayals, and surprising moves from Mallory. He warned viewers that Mallory’s worst is yet to come. Meanwhile, Williams added that viewers should anticipate some surprising team-ups.
The show premiered on Netflix on October 24, 2024, and quickly became popular. Within just four days, it was the fourth most-watched series on the platform. After a week, it had already been viewed over 8.7 million times.
The show quickly became popular, reaching the top spot on Netflix’s charts in 28 countries during its second week. This success led Netflix to order a second season, and after that, a third and final season was commissioned in December 2025. A release date for the final season hasn’t been announced yet.
