I absolutely love George Walter, the dad on the show! He’s exactly what you want in a TV father – supportive and always there for his kids. As a rancher with eight children and Jackie to look after, he’s incredibly busy, but he always manages to balance work and family. He’s really the one teaching those kids what’s important. It’s great to see him trusting his son, Will, with more of the ranch work in Season 2 – really letting him grow and take responsibility.

Nikki Rodriguez plays Jackie Howard, a 16-year-old girl from Manhattan whose world turns upside down when her parents tragically die in a car accident. Becoming an orphan with limited family support, Jackie is adopted by the Walter family and moves to Silver Falls, Colorado. This unexpected change not only forces her to cope with grief, but also disrupts her plans for AP classes and attending Princeton, leading her down a new path. In season two, Jackie returns to Silver Falls to start over with the Walters.

Rodriguez started acting in 2018 and has been gaining recognition ever since. She first appeared in several short films, then landed roles on TV shows like Speechless and Adam Ruins Everything. In 2021, she got her first regular role as Vero on the Netflix series On My Block. The following year, in 2022, she made her feature film debut in the romantic comedy Back to Lyla.

Johnny Link as 26-Year-Old Will Walter

Johnny Link stars as Will Walter in the Netflix series. Will is the oldest of the Walter children and Jackie’s older adoptive brother. At 26, he acts as the responsible head of the family, taking care of his siblings while also working in real estate after graduating from college. He’s hoping to build a better future for them and marry his fiancée, Hayley (Zoe Soul). In the second season, Will takes on even more responsibility by helping to manage a new family business on their ranch.

Johnny Link is quickly becoming a recognizable face! While My Life with the Walter Boys is only his second acting role, following his appearance as Gary in the 2023 Apple TV+ drama Dear Edward (which starred Taylor Schilling and Connie Britton), his work in the new Netflix series is already gaining him a lot of attention. Noah LaLonde as 17-Year-Old Cole Walter

Noah LaLonde plays Cole Walter in the series. Cole is Jackie’s 17-year-old adoptive brother and the second oldest of the Walter children. He has a twin brother, Danny, and used to be the star quarterback at Silver Falls High School. After an injury ends his football career, Cole questions whether he’ll ever achieve his dreams. In Season 2, he continues to adjust to life after sports, pursues new goals, and strengthens his relationship with Jackie.

After starting his acting career with three short films in 2020, LaLonde has been gaining recognition through roles in various movies and TV shows. He’s currently known for his recurring role in My Life with the Walter Boys, and he previously appeared in an episode of Criminal Minds in 2022. He also has a role in the dramatic film, Asbury Park.

Connor Stanhope as 17-Year-Old Danny Walter

Connor Stanhope plays Danny Walter, a 17-year-old who is the twin brother of Cole, though the two don’t share a physical resemblance. Their personalities are also very different – while Cole is a physical and outgoing athlete, Danny is quiet, thoughtful, and loves to read. In the second season, Connor continues to portray Danny’s introspective nature as he faces new difficulties at school.

Canadian actor Stanhope started acting when he was a child and has since built a successful career. He’s well-known for his roles as Young Lex Luthor on Smallville and Logan Shannon in The Garage Sale Mysteries, and he’s also appeared in popular shows like Fringe, Supernatural, Dead of Summer, and When Calls the Heart.

Ashby Gentry plays the role of Alex Walter in the series. Alex is a 16-year-old who is part of the Walters family and quickly becomes interested in Jackie when she moves to Silver Falls. He’s a self-described nerd who loves to read, making him as intelligent as Danny. Alex also starts to develop romantic feelings for Jackie, which creates some tension at home. In Season 2, Alex continues to deal with his feelings for her.

Before landing a role in My Life with the Walter Boys, Gentry had only appeared in one TV episode. That appearance was as Porter in the 2022 Nickelodeon series, Are You Afraid of the Dark? He also has experience with short films and music videos, and is slated to appear in the upcoming drama Mooch, written and directed by Jeff Ryan.

Isaac Arellanes as 16-Year-Old Isaac Garcia

Isaac Arellanes plays the character of Isaac Garcia in the new adaptation of the young adult novel. Frankie Perez started his acting career as a child, appearing on Nickelodeon shows like Sam & Cat and Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn. More recently, he was in the Netflix Halloween film The Curse of Bridge Hollow. While he’s also been on Lip Sync Battle, his biggest TV role so far is in My Life with the Walter Boys.

Corey Fogelmanis as 15-Year-Old Nathan Walter

Corey Fogelmanis stars as Nathan Walter in the Netflix series. Nathan is a 15-year-old and part of the Walter family, acting as the adoptive brother to the creatively gifted Jackie. Outside of playing guitar and writing music, Nathan stays in shape by running around Silver Falls. He and Jackie quickly bond over their shared love of running. In season 2, Nathan continues to share his artistic side and remains a strong support for his family.

Corey Fogelmanis is widely recognized for his role as Farkle Minkus in the Disney Channel series Girl Meets World, which aired from 2014 to 2017. He also starred in the 2017 thriller PrankMe and has appeared in shows like Criminal Minds and Into the Dark, as well as the film Ma. More recently, he’s been starring in My Life with the Walter Boys, and appeared in the 2024 movie I Wish You All the Best.
