The movie adaptation of Brandon Sanderson’s fantasy novels, coming to Apple TV, is moving forward well. Sanderson shared an update with his fans on YouTube, explaining the progress he’s made on the script for the Mistborn movie.
Sanderson mentioned in the video that the script is about 50% complete and progressing well. He’s receiving positive feedback from Apple about their expectations for the project. While Apple hasn’t read the full script yet, they seem pleased with the direction it’s taking.
Some fans might be surprised by this development, considering it’s only been two months since Brandon Sanderson launched his interconnected fantasy universe.
What is Mistborn About?
Mistborn is a grand fantasy story, similar to the classic The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. It takes place on a ruined world covered in mist and ash, reminiscent of the desert planet Arrakis from the novel Dune.
The world of Mistborn changed forever when a great hero tried and failed to save it. Now, an immortal emperor called the Lord Ruler controls everything. However, a group of rebels believes a young street thief might be the key to a daring heist that could change the world.
