Michael C. Hall’s Six Feet Under Leaving Netflix in November

Before Michael C. Hall became known for another popular show, fans can still enjoy *Six Feet Under* on Netflix, though it will soon be leaving the platform.

As a huge TV fan, I was really excited to see that *Six Feet Under* is still on Netflix, but sadly only until November 1st! It’s one of those shows I always recommend. It’s created by Alan Ball and centers around a family who run a funeral home in Los Angeles. The story kicks off when Nate Fisher, played by Peter Krause, and his brother David (Michael C. Hall) unexpectedly inherit the family business, Fisher & Sons, after their father’s death. It’s a fantastic, character-driven show!

The HBO drama *Six Feet Under* features Frances Conroy as Ruth Fisher, Lauren Ambrose as Claire Fisher, Mathew St. Patrick as Keith Charles, Rachel Griffiths as Brenda Chenowith, and Freddy Rodriguez as Federico Diaz. It premiered in 2001 and ran for five seasons, totaling 63 episodes.

The series received widespread critical and audience acclaim, achieving an 81% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on over 100 reviews. It was also recognized with numerous awards, earning a total of 168 nominations and winning 46, including nine Emmys, three Golden Globes, three Grammys, and four Satellite Awards.

What’s Next For Michael C. Hall?

Even though Michael C. Hall finished playing David Fisher some time ago, he continues to attract a large audience and receive critical acclaim for his role as Dexter, the serial killer from the *Dexter* series. It was recently announced that a new *Dexter* series has been released on Paramount+.

Hall announced the renewal in a video message, sharing, “We’re officially getting another season!” He added that the writers are starting work now and more information will be released soon, but he wanted fans to know the story isn’t over. While a release date for *Dexter: Resurrection* Season 2 hasn’t been announced yet, production is underway.

Six Feet Under will available on Netflix until Nov. 1.
