Memory of a Killer Is a Surprise Streaming Success

Despite not being part of a major franchise or having a huge initial buzz, the show Memory of a Killer has surprisingly become a success. It also faced the challenge of following a similar, already popular series, but it still managed to stand out and find an audience.

The series is doing very well on several streaming services. It’s a hit on both Hulu and HBO Max, where it consistently ranked among the top 10 shows during its first season. The season finale aired on April 6th, concluding the show’s ten-episode first season, but more episodes are planned.

What to Expect From Memory of a Killer Season 2

Season two of Memory of a Killer will focus on Angelo Doyle as he faces the consequences of his daughter, Maria, learning about his dark past. While he defeated his secret enemy – revealed to be Agent Grant – at the end of season one, the victory came at a price. The new season will explore how this revelation impacts the Doyle family and dramatically changes their lives.

As a big fan, I was really affected by the season finale! It hinted that Angelo’s Alzheimer’s is sadly getting worse, and we’ll see him losing more and more of his memories in Season 2. This is going to be tough, because it looks like people from his past – enemies, even – are going to start coming out of the woodwork, and with his memory failing, he’ll be in real danger. I’m really hoping they get started on filming the next season soon!
