A beloved hero is returning to the big screen, and the first trailer for the new Masters of the Universe movie is here!
Starring Nicholas Galitzine, known from 100 Nights of Hero, the new movie reimagines the classic Masters of the Universe story. It shows how Prince Adam was sent to Earth as a child to escape a war on his home planet, Eternia. After years of searching, he finds the Power Sword, which allows him to become He-Man and join the remaining heroes of Eternia to defeat the evil Skeletor.
A new trailer for the upcoming Masters of the Universe movie from Amazon MGM Studios has just been released. With the film set to premiere on June 5th, the trailer shows more of Adam’s transformation into the hero, and introduces the other warriors from Eternia who will join him in his quest to save their world. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau will head up a talented cast in the new Masters of the Universe movie. Joining him are Camila Mendes as Teela, Jared Leto as Skeletor, Idris Elba as Man-At-Arms, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Morena Baccarin as the Sorceress, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Fisto, and Kristin Wiig as Roboto, to name a few. The film is directed by Travis Knight, who previously directed the popular Bumblebee in 2018, marking his return to live-action filmmaking.
