Marvel Brings Back Ultron, Vision, and Scarlet Witch, But With A Twist

Ultron is planning another wave of destruction, and the most unusual family in the comic book world is the only thing that can stop him.

This summer, Marvel Comics is teaming up Wiccan and Hulkling with their family – Scarlet Witch, Vision, and even Viv Vision – in a new one-shot comic called Wiccan & Hulkling: Raid on Ultron #1. However, their family time will be cut short by Ultron, who is seeking something similar for himself.

I’m so excited for the new Wiccan & Hulkling comic! It looks like Wiccan and Hulkling are having a party to celebrate their anniversary with all their friends and family, but things are about to get crazy because Ultron shows up and wants to take back Vision and Viv. Talk about a party crasher!

This year’s Marvel’s Voices: Pride brings together exciting Marvel creators and new talent to celebrate fan-favorite LGBTQ+ heroes! The story focuses on a beloved Marvel couple and their friends as they fight against evil and bring hope to the community during difficult times.

What To Expect From Wiccan & Hulking: Raid on Ultron

The first issue of Wiccan & Hulkling: Raid on Ultron will begin with a story introduction by Wyatt Kennedy and Stephen Byrne. As Wiccan and Hulkling get ready for a big anniversary, Ultron takes action, threatening to ruin their plans.

The first issue of Wiccan & Hulkling: Raid on Ultron will include three additional stories created by different teams: Zoe Tunnell and Rachael Scott, Tegan Quin and Luciano Vecchio, and Josh Trujillo and Bradley Clayton. The first two of these stories will also feature battles against Ultron, while the third will focus on a different plot.

Quin, the writer of Wiccan & Hulkling: Raid on Ultron #1, shared that as a twin herself, she was thrilled to write about Wiccan and Speed. She described making her debut with Marvel as ‘downright magical!’ She also jokingly said that Ultrons reminded her of people she’s met in the music industry, and it was very satisfying to write a scene where one was destroyed.
