Marvel has unveiled a new poster featuring Black Cat as she appears in the live-action series Spider-Noir. This series, a spin-off of the Spider-Verse coming to Amazon Prime Video, takes place in a darker, alternate universe with fresh takes on Spider-Man characters. A preview of Spider-Noir offered the first glimpse of Li Jun Li as Black Cat, a nightclub singer in this 1930s-style world.
Amazon Prime Video and MGM have released the first poster for the live-action Black Cat character in Spider-Noir. The poster shows Li Jun Li as Cat Hardy and Brendan Gleeson as Silvermane, according to Omelete.

This small poster features designs from the Spider-Noir collection of collectible badges created for CCXP Mexico. Badges with Silvermane and Black Cat on them were given to attendees with three-day passes.

Li Jun Li is making history as the second actress to play Black Cat in a live-action film. The first was Felicity Jones, who played Felicia Hardy as Harry Osborn’s assistant in the 2014 movie The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Although Felicia Hardy (aka Black Cat) only appeared briefly in the Spider-Man movies starring Andrew Garfield, the upcoming Spider-Noir film will give her a much larger role. As Cat Hardy, she’ll be a central character who draws Nicolas Cage’s Ben Reilly into a life of crime.
Spider-Noir is an eight-part series about Ben Reilly, a former superhero haunted by his past. When a new case makes him face his history, he returns to action as The Spider to defend the city from supernatural dangers.
You can first watch Spider-Noir on MGM+’s TV channel on May 25th, and then all episodes will be available to stream on Prime Video starting May 27th.
Black Cat’s Spider-Noir Poster Has a Twist Hiding In Plain Sight

In the series Spider-Noir, Cat Hardy is presented as a singer at a nightclub who may be connected to criminals. The new poster featuring her with the main villain, Silvermane, suggests a surprising reveal: she’s actually been a villain all along, cleverly disguised.
Cat Hardy might be intentionally feeding information to the authorities in Spider-Noir. She could be collaborating with Silvermane to target Ben Reilly and potentially trap him in a dangerous situation with New York’s organized crime during the Great Depression.
I’m really intrigued by the idea of Felicia Hardy potentially becoming the Black Cat in this new series. Even if we don’t know for sure if that’s happening, the way she’s already set up as a mysterious troublemaker for the hero is super exciting. It feels like a really smart way to add some depth and conflict to Ben Reilly’s journey, and I’m definitely curious to see where they take it.
Black Cat is a complex character in Marvel comics, often acting with hidden motives. In the current series, this suggests Cat Hardy might be secretly working with Ben Reilly, or could switch sides to help him when it benefits her. Alternatively, she could have been allied with Reilly all along, using him as a way to get close to Silvermane and uncover his dangerous schemes for New York.
