Limited-Time Free Whimsicott Available for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Although official support for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet may be ending soon, a new code has been released that allows players to get a special, limited-time Pokémon. Don’t wait too long, as the code will only be active for a short period!

Players who enter the following code in the game will receive a very special Whimsicott:

This special Pokémon code was distributed during the Latin America International Championships. It’s for a Whimsicott based on the one used by Federico Camporesi when he won the 2025 North America International Championships.

Players have until November 30th at 23:59 UTC to claim this prize before it’s gone forever.

Limited-Edition Whimsicott Is Up For Grabs

This year in June, Federico Camporesi’s Whimsicott helped his team win against Marco Silva, a three-time finalist. Federico’s winning team also included Lunala, Miraidon (in its most powerful form), Incineroar, Urshifu (Rapid Strike Style), and Ursaluna. Interestingly, despite the celebration, Whimsicott was defeated after just one turn, only managing to use the move Encore before being knocked out.

This reward code lets you use a Whimsicott just like the one Federico used, allowing you to explore its full capabilities. It has the same stats and moves, including these attacks:

  • Moonblast
  • Tailwind
  • Light Screen
  • Encore

It can make a great addition as a support to any competitive or casual team.

Claim It By November 30

You have until November 30th to get this limited-edition Whimsicott! After that, it won’t be available anymore. To claim it, go to the Poké Portal in the game’s menu and choose Mystery Gift. Then, simply enter the code provided to receive your Pokémon.

This event isn’t the only change happening with Pokémon. The Pokémon Company has announced they’ll be ending support for Scarlet & Violet in 2025 to prepare for future games. As part of that transition, Pokémon Champions will become the official championship series format when it launches next year, replacing Scarlet & Violet.

This means players of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet are nearing the end of their time with the game, as the series moves on to a new generation. This special gift, Whimsicott, could be one of the last things Scarlet & Violet players receive, signaling the end of an era for the game.
