Following a sneak peek with a Captain Picard LEGO figure, LEGO and Paramount have finally unveiled the first-ever LEGO Star Trek set: the LEGO Icons U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D. It’s based on Star Trek: The Next Generation – which, in my opinion, is the best Star Trek series.
This impressive 3,600-piece LEGO set lets you build a detailed replica of the iconic Starfleet spaceship. It includes features like a detachable saucer, the main body, and glowing warp engines. You can even open the shuttlebay to discover two miniature shuttlecraft inside.
The set includes nine minifigures representing the crew of The Next Generation, such as Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Commander Riker, Lieutenant Worf, Data, Dr. Beverly Crusher, Geordi La Forge, Deanna Troi, Guinan, and Wesley Crusher. Unfortunately, Chief Miles O’Brien isn’t included.
Each collectible figure includes iconic accessories from the show, like Picard’s teacup, Riker’s trombone, and even Spot the cat! They also come with typical Starfleet equipment such as a phaser, tricorder, engineering kit, PADD, and a small tractor beam generator, plus a bottle from Ten Forward.

Jonathan Frakes, who is both an actor and director, describes the set as “a wonderful way to experience the crew’s adventures bit by bit.” He’ll also be part of a LEGO livestream coinciding with LEGO Group’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, giving fans a chance to win a signed copy of the new LEGO model.
I played Commander Riker on Star Trek, and now you can build your own Enterprise! This LEGO set lets fans recreate all the classic adventures. Plus, keep an eye on our livestream for a chance to win a signed set!
The LEGO U.S.S. Enterprise-D (set number 10356) will be released on November 28, 2025, and will cost $399.99. You can buy it at LEGO Stores and on LEGO.com. If you purchase it between November 28th and December 1st, you’ll also receive a free Type-15 Shuttlepod with an Ensign Ro Laren minifigure.

Following the initial announcement of LEGO’s collaboration with Star Trek last September, LEGO has now revealed the first details of the collection. This partnership combines two legendary brands and kicks off an exciting new chapter for fans of both LEGO and Star Trek.
For almost 60 years, fans have enjoyed Star Trek toys from companies like Playmates and, more recently, Playmobil. But now, for the first time ever, LEGO has created a Star Trek set, and it’s perfectly fitting that they started with the most iconic version of the Enterprise.
