Hallmark is increasingly filming movies on location around the globe, and actress Lacey Chabert has been fortunate enough to travel extensively for her roles. She’s filmed in Iceland for The Christmas Quest, Scotland for A Merry Scottish Christmas, and Belgium for Love, Romance & Chocolate. Her newest Hallmark movie, Lost in Paradise, which premiered this weekend, took her to Fiji, and she recently shared beautiful photos of the scenery with her fellow cast and crew.
Lacey Chabert and Ian Harding (known from Pretty Little Liars and Our Little Secret) star in Lost in Paradise as Sophie and Max. They play a couple stranded on an island after their plane makes an emergency landing. Behind the scenes, filming seemed much more pleasant, with Hallmark star Lacey Chabert sharing photos from the beautiful tropical filming location.

I’m absolutely loving all the floral prints! Honestly, if being stuck on a tropical island meant I could wear outfits like these, I’d book my ticket right now. Just looking at them makes me feel so relaxed and peaceful, like I’m already there on the beach.
Lacey Chabert might soon be known more for selfies than for her Hallmark movies! It seems like almost everyone on set took a picture with the actress, who’s also famous for her role in Mean Girls.
I really enjoyed the glamorous photo of her and Ian Harding pretending their plane had crashed – especially the one where Ian playfully copied Lacey Chabert’s pose amongst the scattered luggage and driftwood. It was also fun seeing them with their stunt doubles, and they clearly had a great time working together.
I was surprised to see the actress from Hot Frosty return so quickly. She’d just finished appearing in She’s Making a List alongside Andrew Walker in the 2025 Christmas lineup, and also starred in Haul Out the Halloween, the third movie in her Haul Out the Holly series. She even joked that doing those movies made her feel like she was being unfaithful to Christmas!
She clearly loves making holiday movies, and releasing another one so soon – her third in four months – is a wonderful surprise for her many fans.
Plus, fans can expect to see Lacey Chabert in future holiday films! She’s teaming up with Disney World for Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True, which will be part of the 2026 Countdown to Christmas lineup.
Even though this film isn’t being shot abroad, I’m sure she was thrilled to be filming in Orlando. It makes me wonder where future Holiday Ever After movies could be set – if Hallmark decides to make it a series like they did with Holiday Touchdown.
I recently checked out Lost in Paradise, and it’s now available to stream on Hallmark+. If you missed the premiere on January 3rd, don’t worry! Hallmark Channel is re-airing it on Sunday, January 4th at 6 p.m. Eastern, and they’ll be showing it again several times throughout the month.
