Kim Kardashian and her family are returning to television with Season 7 of The Kardashians, which will premiere later this week. However, many fans are even more eager for her new drama series, All’s Fair. Created by Ryan Murphy, the show focuses on a law firm made up entirely of female divorce lawyers, and Kardashian has revealed she used personal experiences to help her portray her character.
Divorce is a subject that Kim Kardashian has some experience with, as she’s seen the end of three marriages. Laura Wasser — divorce attorney to the stars — helped the reality TV star through the latter two of those, and Kardashian says she channeled Wasser’s energy for her All’s Fair character Allura Grant. She told On the Red Carpet:
Allura Grant is a powerful and resilient woman. I based the character on Laura Wasser, my divorce lawyer, who I admire for her strength and ability to reassure people that things will be alright. That’s the kind of energy we wanted to portray in these female characters.
It’s understandable why Kim Kardashian would highlight her divorce lawyer, Laura Wasser, and explain her success with celebrity clients. Wasser handled Kardashian’s divorces from both Kris Humphries and Kanye West, and also represented her in her earlier divorce from Damon Thomas.
Laura Wasser is a highly sought-after divorce lawyer with a star-studded client list. She’s recently handled high-profile splits for celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck (even without a prenuptial agreement), and Christina Haack from Josh Hall. Wasser has guided Angelina Jolie through two divorces – from Billy Bob Thornton and Brad Pitt – and recently represented Britney Spears following her breakup with Sam Asghari. Other well-known names she’s reportedly worked with include Kevin Costner, Johnny Depp, Maria Shriver, and Stevie Wonder, among many others.
I’m really looking forward to seeing Ryan Murphy’s take on the world of high-profile divorces – I’m sure it’ll be over-the-top and dramatic! I’m especially curious to find out what makes this lawyer so successful. Here’s a sneak peek at All’s Fair:
Kim Kardashian, known for her reality TV fame, recently started acting in 2023 with a role on Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story: Delicate. She’s acting alongside a fantastic cast including Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash, Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, and Teyana Taylor. Trailers for the show reveal appearances from guest stars like Elizabeth Berkley and Brooke Shields, and it looks like Kardashian’s character will be getting married again.
