It’s been lovely to see the friendship between Jennifer Lawrence and Kris Jenner blossom, like when Lawrence gave Jenner a funny gift for Christmas. So, it was unexpected when Lawrence seemed to criticize Kris’s daughter, Kourtney Kardashian. Despite that, Jennifer Lawrence generally has a good relationship with the Kardashian family, recently even complimenting a product from another sister.
Jennifer Lawrence Begs Kourtney Kardashian To Stop Making ‘Announcements’
Let’s quickly revisit the drama between Jennifer Lawrence and Kourtney Kardashian before we move on to fashion. While promoting her film with Robert Pattinson for Vanity Fair, Lawrence took a lie detector test, and Pattinson asked her about her feelings towards the Kardashian family.
Jennifer Lawrence said Khloé is her favorite Kardashian (she jokingly apologized to Kris!), and then unexpectedly started talking about Kourtney, saying:
Honestly, Kourtney is really getting on my nerves lately! It’s just… everything with her feels like a big performance. Like she has to announce every little life choice. It’s things like, ‘I’ve decided I’m not going to wear outfits anymore!’ Why even say that? Just wear what makes you happy! Or the other day, she was talking about not having a TV in her room, as if that’s some groundbreaking revelation. It’s just… do what you want and keep it to yourself, you know?
Kourtney Kardashian’s preference for comfortable clothes played a significant role in Season 7 of The Kardashians (now available on Hulu). The founder of Lemme revealed she’d rather wear her husband Travis Barker’s relaxed outfits than dress up in high heels, a decision that prompted Kim Kardashian to express she could never embrace such a lifestyle.
I’m starting to think Jennifer Lawrence might have been one of the people playfully teasing Kourtney about her Santa costume from Target.
Jennifer Lawrence Is A Fan Of The SKIMS Merkin
Robert Pattinson continued his line of questioning, shifting to fashion and asking Jennifer Lawrence if she was familiar with merkins. Their conversation playfully covered her thoughts on them, his surprise at realizing he’d seen her wear one before, and whether she would consider purchasing one from Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS brand.
J-Law gave a knowing glance at the camera and dramatically declared:
No! I’ll get it for free.
It’s likely she’s right. Considering her connection to Kris Jenner and how closely she probably agrees with Kim Kardashian about Kourtney, I’m sure Jennifer Lawrence could easily get some free SKIMS products, maybe even one of those unique hair thongs, as a result.
I was reading that Jennifer Lawrence isn’t the only celebrity who’s a fan of SKIMS’s merkin – you know, that little ‘bush’ underwear. Apparently, Kim Kardashian mentioned that Sarah Paulson, who I thought was fantastic in All’s Fair (and thankfully they’re making another season!), wears it all the time and isn’t shy about it. So, J-Law’s in great company, it seems!
