What happens in the Tron: Ares trailer?
In this rephrased version: The trailer focuses on Ares, an enigmatic AI character portrayed by Leto, who gets transported into our world through Julian Dillinger, played by Evan Peters. Ares is advertised as a brilliant warrior with the ability to be revived whenever needed, but it appears that events soon take an unexpected turn for the worse.

In addition to Leto, the cast of Tron: Ares boasts several well-known actors such as Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, Gillian Anderson, Jeff Bridges, and Sarah Desjardins.
Ares” marks the third installment in Disney’s Tron series, following “Tron” from 1982 and “Tron: Legacy” in 2010. The new film is helmed by Joachim Rønning, who has previously worked on movies like “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” (2019) and the upcoming “Young Woman and the Sea” (2024). He also collaborated with Espen Sandberg on “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” in 2017. The script for this film was penned by Jesse Wigutow.
