The iconic spy is returning later this year, and fans will get a fascinating look at the original stories that launched the famous 007 films.
Titan Comics announced today that Ian Fleming’s James Bond Signature Comic Strip Collection will be available on September 8, 2026. This collection features the first seven complete James Bond newspaper comic strips, which were influential in the franchise’s early development. It also includes a large collection of original artwork by John McLusky, chosen by his family.
New James Bond Release Gives Fans High Quality Look at Original Comic Strips
You can now pre-order the latest James Bond novel directly from Titan Comics or other retailers. This edition is a special hardcover with 296 pages and costs $49.99.
Fans are getting a first glimpse of beautifully reproduced editions of classic James Bond stories, thanks to images posted by Fleming’s shop and Titan Comics. This collection features some of the very first adventures with the iconic character and is essential for both James Bond enthusiasts and collectors. According to Titan, the stories are packed with exciting gadgets, fast-paced car chases, glamorous characters, intense action, and, of course, the occasional martini – shaken, not stirred.
Fans of James Bond can now collect the first three years of newspaper comic strips featuring the iconic spy, originally published between July 1958 and May 1961. This collection includes complete stories based on six popular Bond adventures: Live and Let Die, Moonraker, Diamonds are Forever, From Russia with Love, Dr. No, and Goldfinger. The book is labeled ‘Vol. 1’ by Titan Comics and on Amazon, suggesting that more collections could be released if this one is successful.
James Bond’s Comic Adventures Continue To This Day
Fans are getting a treat with the release of early James Bond comic strips, but Dynamite Entertainment has been consistently delivering Bond comics for years. Since partnering with Ian Fleming Publications in 2015, they’ve published over 100 James Bond issues, featuring both ongoing series and standalone stories.
Okay, so as a huge James Bond fan, I’ve been totally hooked on figuring out who’s going to play 007 next! The books are still going strong, but the big question has always been who will take on the role on the big screen. Last year, Amazon bought the rights to make future Bond films, which was a huge deal. Then, a few months ago, Amazon and director Denis Villeneuve announced they’re looking for someone new – a ‘fresh face’ – to replace Daniel Craig. We’re all hoping to hear some news about who that might be sometime this year, and honestly, the wait is killing me!
Titan Comics will release a collection of James Bond comic strips, featuring the iconic character created by Ian Fleming, on September 8th.
