The Chrisley family is dealing with ongoing personal issues, much of which isn’t shown on their reality TV show. Recently, Todd Chrisley‘s oldest daughter, Lindsie (now Landsman), publicly accused him of blackmail in a three-part podcast. Todd is now responding to his daughter’s claims and discussing the situation involving their family.

Lindsie Landsman recently released a three-part podcast, shared in part with her Patreon supporters, between October 22nd and 24th. In the podcast, she claimed her father exploited her in the past and that he attempted to blackmail her with nude photos and a sex tape involving herself and Robby Hayes. Landsman also responded to claims made about her on the upcoming TV show The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, where family members accuse her of cooperating with Georgia’s Department of Revenue during the tax fraud case involving her parents, Todd and Julie.

Todd Chrisley and his family actually knew about the podcast interview before it came out. On a recent episode of their YouTube show, Chrisley Confessions 2.0, Julie mentioned they recorded the discussion on October 21st, eight days before the interview’s release on the 29th. Todd later explained they found out from their lawyers that Lindsie Chrisley and Kail Lowry, Lindsie’s podcast co-host, were planning to release it that same morning. Todd then joked about the situation.

Following his recent statement, Todd Chrisley admitted his daughter, Lindsie Landsman, had apparently helped federal investigators looking into his and Julie’s case. Although Lindsie initially seemed to support her father, reports later surfaced that she had contacted the FBI and even sought a restraining order against Todd. Chrisley didn’t shy away from discussing the legal issues, and spoke frankly about them.

The truth is now public, confirmed in court. I’ve said all I need to say about this, and I’m moving on. As I mentioned on our podcast recently, this will be my last time discussing it. Lindsie did have affairs with both Robby Hayes and Josh Murry, and she acted in ways that went against her upbringing. I was understandably angry when I found out, and I reacted poorly by sending some regrettable tweets, which I’ve since addressed. This was especially true after discovering she was working with Josh Waites from the Georgia Department of Revenue.

Chrisley also stated he wasn’t sure what kind of relationship Lindsie Landsman and Josh Waites had – whether it was professional or something else. Despite this, he was still confused about why his daughter was making accusations against him, his wife Julie, and their children.

You claimed, through your lawyer, that you weren’t involved in the legal action taken against me, but that’s false. The evidence clearly shows otherwise. Your lawyer has only been given part of the story, with the rest being made up. The claim that Lindsie had no part in this case or any involvement with federal authorities is also untrue.

As a fan, it’s really sad to see Lindsie Chrisley and her family still aren’t speaking. Savannah has confirmed they’re completely estranged, and honestly, after everything that happened with Todd and Julie’s legal issues and the Back to Reality show, it seems like both sides have dug in their heels. It doesn’t look like they’re making any effort to reconcile, which is just heartbreaking to watch.
